Hon. Shakiru Korede Bello, the Special Adviser on Budget to the Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, has passed away after battling an illness. He was a prominent member of the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Executive Cabinet as He played key roles in shaping the LCDA's budget and financial policies. Hon. Bello, popularly known as Hon. Lekki, was a respected and influential member of the All Progressives Congress in Ikosi-Ejinrin. His sudden demise has sent shockwaves throughout the council and the community, with many struggling to come to terms with the loss. Details of his burial arrangements are yet to be announced by the family. In January 2024, Hon. This visit laid the foundation for a collaborative effort to enhance the prospects of young athletes in Lagos. On Monday 17th June 2024, the Commissioner announced via his social media handles that over 5 intense days, the NFL team has conducted an extensive recruitment process, identifying and selecting talented players from Lagos and twelve other countries across Africa.
