HON. WALE ANOMO: SANWOOLU DESERVES A SECOND TERM JUDGING BY ALL KNOWN PERFORMANCE INDEX

  

The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo has said that  Lagosians must prioritize the progress and stability of Lagos State by making sure that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu is reelected on March 18th 2023.

Akogun Wale Anomo who spoke in Lagos noted that everyone has the constitutional right to contest a political office, but performance, experience and track record in office should be the major index by which Electorates should make their choices at the polls. He pointed out that the governor has delivered dividends of democracy to Lagosians even in the face of two major unforeseen events i.e the Corona Virus and the End Sars protest, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu has indeed performed beyond expectation.

Anomo stated that the issue of governance and administration in Lagos state is beyond emotions but rather it is about competence, credibility and track record. 

"Anywhere in the world, you assess a government and vote based on performance and Governor Sanwoolu has indeed performed. His achievements in the critical sectors of the state’s economy are endearing, and convincing and such needs to be sustained. Is it the recently completed multi-billion naira Imota Rice Mill project? The completed OkoBaba Sawmill in Agbowa or the huge foreign direct investments attracted by the Lekki Free Trade Zone? not to mention the recently completed first phase of the Blue Line Mass transit rail system amongst many other projects.

Our people in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA remains resolute and committed to sustain the progress and development in Lagos State by voting for Governor Babajide Sanwoolu and Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as Governor and Deputy Governor respectively as we shall also be voting for Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu as our representative at the Lagos State House of Assembly. We have and will not relent in canvassing and mobilization efforts as this is an election for the survival of Lagos and I am certain all well meaning Lagosians are with us and will join by voting overwhelmingly for the performance, Integrity, competence and continuity all of which Governor Babajide Sanwoolu embodies.

ANOMO INTRODUCES ₦50,000 MONTHLY SUPPORT ALLOWANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IKOSI-EJINRIN

In a bold step to further strengthen the foundation of basic education, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area , Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo , has introduced a Primary School Support Allowance for all public primary schools within the LCDA . Under this new initiative, each of the 17 public primary schools in Ikosi-Ejinrin will receive a monthly allowance of ₦50,000 to support their smooth operations and day-to-day running. The Chairman made this announcement when the Education Secretary, Epe LGEA , Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu , alongside the leadership of AOPSHON (Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria), Ikosi-Ejinrin chapter, paid him a congratulatory visit at the Council Secretariat. IKOSI-EJINRIN LCDA HOLDS MENSTRUAL HYGIENE ENLIGHTENMENT FOR TEENAGE GIRLS

In a bid to promote healthy living and empower the girl child, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area on Wednesday 17th September, 2025 organized a special enlightenment program on menstrual hygiene for teenage girls drawn from secondary schools across the LCDA. The event was held at the Council Secretariat, Agbowa . The program, themed “Menstrual Hygiene: Caring for the Girl Child,” was facilitated by the Council Chairperson, Dr. Olajumoke Nafisat Anomo , a seasoned medical doctor, who also served as the host.  In her welcome address, Dr. Anomo explained the rationale behind the initiative, urging the students to pay close attention and participate actively. She further demonstrated practical steps in maintaining proper menstrual and general hygiene, equipping the girls with knowledge for healthier and more confident living.
