Akogun Wale Anomo host Ikosi-Ejinrin Stakeholders for APC Appreciation/Victory party



Today, 22nd March, 2023 is indeed a thanksgiving day for all Residents and Stakeholders in Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area especially for Leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress as the Executive Chairman, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo hosted Community Leaders, Party Stalwarts, religious Leaders and Party members to a feast to celebrate and appreciate Stakeholders for the victory of the APC in the just concluded general elections tagged Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Appreciation/Victory Party held at the Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Secretariat, Agbowa.



The program had in attendance Royal fathers which include HRM Ganiyu Asunmo Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo-Onosa-Ayandelu Kingdom; The Olowu of Owu-Ikosi, HRM Oba, Nelson Obayomi Ogunlari; the Olota of Otta-Ikosi, HRM, Oba Elias Omoloro; Also in attendance were High-Chief Shakiru Odufowora and High-Chief Badru Adewale, the regents of Agbowa and Ketu-Ereyun respectively.

Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Executive Chairman Akogun Wale Raji Anomo on behalf of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and other Candidates of the APC who all emerged thanked all the stakeholders for their support and commitment which made the All Progressives Congress victorious in the LCDA in both the February 25th Presidential/National Assembly elections as well as the March 18th Gubernatorial/House of Assembly elections.


The Chairman took his time to appreciate each group and sought the blessings of the Royal fathers on them for their efforts.


Chief (Mrs.) S.B Adekoya on behalf of the Party appreciated all the Stakeholders and Party members; urged them to not despair in their faith in the Party as the reward for loyalty shall locate loyal Party members no matter where they are.


Goodwill messages was delivered by the Council Manager, Barr. Ladipo Shobule and the NULGE Chairman, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Comr. Olusesan Olusegun. After which Alayeluwa, Oba Ganiyu Asunmo Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo-Onosa-Ayandelu Kingdom gave the congregation words of advice and also offered prayers for all.


Other notable stakeholders present are: Vice Chairman, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Alh. Wasiu Dehinsilu; SLG, Ho. Miniru Temitope and other Executive Cabinet members; Hon. Hassan Mustapha and other Councillors; Apex Leaders of the APC in Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA; gazetted Chief of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA; Association of Ikosi-Ejinrin Baales; APC LG Executives; Ward Chairmen; Ikosi-Ejinrin CDA/CDC Executives; Artisan; Association of Headteachers; Team Lagos; Polling Unit Managers across Wards; Party Agents; Canvassers; Student Bodies; Representatives of the League of Imams and Alfas; Representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria; Local Council Staffs amongst others.

ANOMO INTRODUCES ₦50,000 MONTHLY SUPPORT ALLOWANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IKOSI-EJINRIN

In a bold step to further strengthen the foundation of basic education, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area , Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo , has introduced a Primary School Support Allowance for all public primary schools within the LCDA . Under this new initiative, each of the 17 public primary schools in Ikosi-Ejinrin will receive a monthly allowance of ₦50,000 to support their smooth operations and day-to-day running. The Chairman made this announcement when the Education Secretary, Epe LGEA , Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu , alongside the leadership of AOPSHON (Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria), Ikosi-Ejinrin chapter, paid him a congratulatory visit at the Council Secretariat. IKOSI-EJINRIN LCDA HOLDS MENSTRUAL HYGIENE ENLIGHTENMENT FOR TEENAGE GIRLS

In a bid to promote healthy living and empower the girl child, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area on Wednesday 17th September, 2025 organized a special enlightenment program on menstrual hygiene for teenage girls drawn from secondary schools across the LCDA. The event was held at the Council Secretariat, Agbowa . The program, themed “Menstrual Hygiene: Caring for the Girl Child,” was facilitated by the Council Chairperson, Dr. Olajumoke Nafisat Anomo , a seasoned medical doctor, who also served as the host.  In her welcome address, Dr. Anomo explained the rationale behind the initiative, urging the students to pay close attention and participate actively. She further demonstrated practical steps in maintaining proper menstrual and general hygiene, equipping the girls with knowledge for healthier and more confident living.
