Akogun Wale Raji Anomo engages Temu Community residents during Door-to-Door Campaign; Inspects graded Road.



The Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area, Akogun Wale Raji Anomo led a delegation of APC Stalwart to conduct a door-to-door campaign for the re-election of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu and Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu in Odo-Temu Community where he extensively engaged the residents.

In the company of the Chairman was the former Leader of Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Legislative Council, Hon. Badmus Muyideen; Ward Chairman, APC Ward R1, Mr. Jayesimi Ibrahim; CDA Chairman Mr. Edwin amongst others. During the visit, the Council boss used the opportunity to roll out some of the projects the APC led government has done for Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA and specifically what TEMU Community has benefitted which all those he met acknowledged. He also addressed major concerns of the residents which he promised to give prompt attention immediately the elections are over.

Akogun Wale Anomo also used the opportunity of the visit to inspect the road graded by the Council in Ojota Area of the community. Both the young and Old in the Community showered Prayers on the Him, attesting to his unique Leadership and administrative style.

ANOMO INTRODUCES ₦50,000 MONTHLY SUPPORT ALLOWANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IKOSI-EJINRIN

In a bold step to further strengthen the foundation of basic education, the Executive Chairman of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area , Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo , has introduced a Primary School Support Allowance for all public primary schools within the LCDA . Under this new initiative, each of the 17 public primary schools in Ikosi-Ejinrin will receive a monthly allowance of ₦50,000 to support their smooth operations and day-to-day running. The Chairman made this announcement when the Education Secretary, Epe LGEA , Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu , alongside the leadership of AOPSHON (Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria), Ikosi-Ejinrin chapter, paid him a congratulatory visit at the Council Secretariat. IKOSI-EJINRIN LCDA HOLDS MENSTRUAL HYGIENE ENLIGHTENMENT FOR TEENAGE GIRLS

In a bid to promote healthy living and empower the girl child, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area on Wednesday 17th September, 2025 organized a special enlightenment program on menstrual hygiene for teenage girls drawn from secondary schools across the LCDA. The event was held at the Council Secretariat, Agbowa . The program, themed “Menstrual Hygiene: Caring for the Girl Child,” was facilitated by the Council Chairperson, Dr. Olajumoke Nafisat Anomo , a seasoned medical doctor, who also served as the host.  In her welcome address, Dr. Anomo explained the rationale behind the initiative, urging the students to pay close attention and participate actively. She further demonstrated practical steps in maintaining proper menstrual and general hygiene, equipping the girls with knowledge for healthier and more confident living.
