ANOMO INTRODUCES ₦50,000 MONTHLY SUPPORT ALLOWANCE FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN IKOSI-EJINRIN
Under this new initiative, each of the 17 public primary schools in Ikosi-Ejinrin will receive a monthly allowance of ₦50,000 to support their smooth operations and day-to-day running.
The Chairman made this announcement when the Education Secretary, Epe LGEA, Otunba Shittu Aliu Idowu, alongside the leadership of AOPSHON (Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria), Ikosi-Ejinrin chapter, paid him a congratulatory visit at the Council Secretariat. During the visit, the delegation presented a gift to the Chairman in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the growth of education since assuming office.
Notably, the first tranche of the allowance has already been disbursed, enabling schools to make adequate preparations for resumption, which officially commenced yesterday. The gesture was warmly acknowledged by the Head Teachers of the beneficiary schools, who expressed profound appreciation to the Chairman for his consistent support and vision for grassroots education.
With this initiative, the Anomo-led administration has once again reaffirmed its commitment to making education not only accessible but sustainable, ensuring that no child in Ikosi-Ejinrin is left behind.
